来源：《读者》2003年第14期上的引诗，署名是泰戈尔，摘自同年第5期《女子文学》（现改名《女子文摘》）。但在《女子文摘》中说明，这首诗是摘于网上 。后被查证最早是台湾阳明神农坡医学院的一些同学在BBS中集体创作的。所以此诗成了伪诗。长的分段的是泰戈尔写的。短的是张小娴写作时借鉴简化的。张小娴的，我看过张小娴的书的。

《荷包里的单人床》在2000年版中，张小娴专门就这个文坛公案作了澄清。序中说，小说完成于1997年5月，讲的是一个暗恋的故事，封面那段话是借书中主人公苏盈之口说的。
原文是：“‘世界上最遥远的距离，不是生与死的距离，不是天各一方，而是，我就站在你面前，你却不知道我爱你’。
张小娴在序中说：别人都以为我是抄泰戈尔的，只有我和我的出版社知道我没有抄，这真是世界上最遥远的距离。世界上最遥远的距离，出自印度著名诗人泰戈尔诗集——《飞鸟集》。

6.腕表进水了该如何紧急处理？（1）方法一：遇水应立即用干净毛巾擦拭、晾干或用适宜的暖风烘干。（2）方法二：将腕表反戴在手腕上，让表面反向朝内、表底壳朝外，静待数小时后，腕表内的水分将逐渐减少。（3）方法三：准备些许纸巾或吸潮的绒布，将腕表包裹严实，并放置于40瓦电灯泡下方约5厘米位置，烘烤30分钟左右，机芯水汽将慢慢消失。在日常工作中，许多人在选购手表的时候，除了品牌和款式，应该选择多什么寸的手表才适合自己，也是一个很困惑的事情。
